Research the Stamp Act:
1. What was it?
2. Identify some of the things that were taxed
3. In your opinion, was the Stamp Act fair? Why or Why not?
4. Why would something like the Stamp Act enrage the colonists to the point of declaring independence.

Using the following links: Same but Different, Studyworld, Comparison Chart, and Hyper History, gather notes about both city-states so you can write a compare and contrast essay.
You also need to use the folowing sites: Gods, Gods(2) to answer the following questions:
1. Who is your favorite God? Why?
2. Create a question for your peers to answer about the Greek Gods.
3. Answer one of your peers questions.

96 floors from the Earth, Signature Lounge is located inside the Hancock building in downtown Chicago. There are spectacular views of Trump Tower, Willis Tower, and Lake Michigan!

At one time the tallest building in the world, The Willis Tower(formerly Sears Tower) dominates the Chicago skyline at over 1400 ft tall!

Using the following link: American Revolution,
8th graders you need to answer one of the following questions and then create a question about the American Revolution for your peers to answer:
1. What was 1 key event of the American Revolution and why was it important?
2. Choose a hero of the American Revolution and write which side he/she was a hero for and why they were a hero.
3. Write a short paragraph about what happened at one of the following battles: Bunker Hill, Valley Forge, Lexington and Concord, or Yorktown.
After student created questions are posted, you need to answer one in a reply.

By reading, taking notes, and doing a simulation you will identify & describe 6 government types (monarchy, anarchy, tyranny, democracy, oligarchy, and aristocracy), and justify why a civilization would choose each type.
